Crane 13630-16 Chromemoly Steel Pushrod - Set of 16. The Crane Chromemoly Steel Pushrod is made from 4130 chromemoly seamless steel tubing. The ends are precision-made, carburized, heat-treated for strength and wear resistance, and press-fit into the tubing. Some applications are also carbonitride heat-treated to strengthen and harden the tubing for use with or without pushrod guideplates. The diameter of the tubing is 7/16''. The overall length of the intake and exhaust are 8.250'' and 9.250''. In these instances, the ends are spot-welded into the tubing for maximum strength and reliability. The diameter of the top tip and bottom tip is 5/16''. Hardened pushrods must be used with guideplates to prevent premature wear and failure.
